Happy Napping

It's Saturday and I have been spending much of the day deep in report cards. Knowing that my brain is tired of thinking,  I thought I would post a quick image appropriate for Saturday napping. Though I am not napping at the moment, I only hope to gently close my eyes and lay down on the opposite side of the couch ready to turn off my brain for 10 minutes. Sadly, I know this probably won't happen for me.  I try too hard when it comes to napping.  My mind often disagrees with me when I want a nap especially during the school year. Summer napping is a breeze because I am not clouded with a list of must-do's by Monday.
So, I  figure I will just continue to look over and envy the boys (including my husband as a boy) who can so easily turn things off. I wish I could do the same!
Happy Saturday and happy napping if you're the napping type:)

There's nothing like a Saturday or even Sunday afternoon nap. Sorry that you couldn't participate. Good luck with your report cards.

Just finished report cards earlier and just woke up from a nap-exhausted thinking so hard! Congrats on participating in Slice challenge.

I am absolutely the napping type and love myself a midday snooze. I can relate to being too hyped up to nap though. Report cards will do that to you! Maybe tomorrow you will be more up to unwinding.

One of the best pictures ever! Joe and Joey look so relaxed. So sorry you didn't get in on the fun, but then who would take this great picture?!!
Trying to figure out where I can hide away and get some focus while college age daughter is home. Don't see it happening. Oh well...

Blissfully unaware is the caption for that picture. Oh to have that ability. I hope you got everything accomplished today so you can relax tomorrow. I know I didn't.

Naps are the best! It is so hard to allow yourself the time for a little break, but it seems that I am more productive and happier if I sneak one in!

Katie,
Napping is one of my favorite things to do. For some reason, I especially find a nap fitting on a Sunday afternoon. I hope you make it through progress reports and eventually get to enjoy a nap yourself.

Katie,
I love this picture of your family. I LOVE napping especially on Saturday afternoon. It's like my reward after a long week. I hope you got to turn your brain off for a few minutes to get a nap in.

Very cute picture! And I agree I'm so a napper. The problem is that I don't do quick naps very well and they can mess me up for the night then, but it's usually worth it.
