You are such an inspiration Katie! This is absolutely wonderful, and great for you for giving your students a chance to reflect on their own learning this year. Bravo, bravo!!!
Love this, Katie. I can't wait for you to show me how to do this. I'm going to show my fourth graders to give them ideas for their passion pieces. Shelly
Thanks girls! After my students and I began talking, I knew I had to start recording their thoughts. Hello shared writing! Then I was determined to play with technology and this movie was the result. Needless to say, I took my own kids to McDonalds (as my hubby is out of town) and let 'em watch tv. Poor parenting tonight but I was determined.
Woohoo! I hope you share this at parent/curriculum night in the fall with your new families. How powerful! What lucky kids to have you in their lives. Enjoy the gorgeous days ahead. Andrea

Amazing life lessons about reading your students have learned!
Great clip!
I agree with Stella and Karen! These are terrific! What a lot they have learned this year!
